Oliver Burgdorf takes over the role of Chief Sales Officer at RIEDEL Networks
Butzbach, July 01, 2025 – RIEDEL Networks, provider of tailormade IT security and network services, is setting the course for further growth and is announcing a change at the top of its Sales Division. Effective immediately, Oliver Burgdorf will assume overall strategic and operational responsibility for the company’s sales as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). He succeeds Bernhard Pussel, who is taking well-deserved early retirement after eight successful years with the company.

Oliver Burgdorf is an accomplished sales expert with over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry – particularly with a focus on business customer solutions. Most recently, he was Vice President Germany – New Mobile Business at Deutsche Telekom, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of innovative mobile communication solutions for business customers for over 15 years. Earlier positions included Sales Director for Corporate Accounts at Equant, a leading provider of global communications services, which was later integrated into Orange Business Services. In this role, Oliver Burgdorf was able to further expand and deepen his international sales expertise.
The new Chief Sales Officer not only has extensive industry experience, but has also been committed to promoting young professionals and the active exchange between science and practice for many years. In close cooperation with the Sales Management Department at Ruhr University Bochum, he provides students with practical insights into the sales reality of the telecommunications industry and strengthens the transfer of knowledge between academia and industry.
