RIEDEL Networks Expands Network Capacity for Asia
RIEDEL Networks has optimized the round trip time (RTT) to Asia with its new network routes via the Russian and Kazakh mainland. An IP packet from Frankfurt to Tokyo and back now only takes 181 milliseconds instead of the previous 242 milliseconds. The transit time for data between Frankfurt and Hong Kong has also been reduced by a significant 27 milliseconds to 170 ms. The new mainland routes also further increase reliability.
RIEDEL Networks Expands Its Network
RIEDEL Networks has set up a new Point of Presence (PoP) in Miami and signed a contract with Neutrona Networks to expand the bandwidth for the lines between Miami, New York and Sao Paulo. The completion of the so-called Miami Triangle project will result in numerous benefits for RIEDEL Networks and its customers.
RIEDEL Networks Ready for the Summer Games in Japan
In preparation for the Summer Games in Japan, Riedel Networks has optimized its network towards Asia and moved into state-of-the-art network nodes in Tokyo (CC1 AT Tokyo) and Singapore (Epsilon Telecommunications). The new points of presence (PoPs) were equipped with modern SDN technology and the bandwidth in the backbone was increased many times over.
Frankfurt - São Paulo: There and Back in 185 ms
RIEDEL Networks has put a new network node into operation in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in the brand new Equinix SP3 data center. The advantage of the move to this location is that RIEDEL Networks can now also offer its customers in South America direct MPLS access to the world's most widely used cloud service providers. RIEDEL Networks' new Point of Presence (PoP) in Sao Paulo is also equipped with state-of-the-art technology and significantly more bandwidth than before.
