Michael Martens


Michael Martens was appointed CEO and Managing Director in May 2012. Prior to Riedel Networks, Michael was for 5 years member of the management board of Colt Technology Services, responsible for the Wholesale and the Midsize business in the D-A-CH and CEE regions. Before this he was member of the management team of Verizon Business, managing the Reseller, System Integrator, Carriers and Service Providers sales channels. Michael started his career at Deutsche Telekom, has served as professional soldier and weapon communication engineer at the German federal forces and has studied business information technology at the AKAD institute.


Frank Eischet

Group CFO

Frank Eischet joined Riedel as Managing Director and Group CFO in October 2011. In addition to this role he was appointed Managing Director of Riedel Networks in April 2012. Prior to Riedel Frank Eischet has served for eight years in several functions at Strauss Innovation and most recently as one of their Managing Directors and as their CFO. In Controlware and during his time in the accounting and consulting firm Arthur Andersen, he gained relevant experience in the networking and telecommunications industry. Frank Eischet graduated from the tax consultant exam and holds a Business Administration Degree from the University of Cologne.


Jörg Retzlaff

Director Operations & Technology

Jörg Retzlaff joined Riedel Networks in 2003 as Manager Operations and was appointed Director of Technology & Operations in April 2012. Before Riedel Networks Jörg was working as senior network engineer at access:seven, a solution provider of broadband telecommunication services addressing the enterprise-market and prior to access:seven Jörg was part of the network development team of Arcor today called Vodafone. Jörg holds an MBA from University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and has a long-lasting experience in Cisco based networks.


Bernd Lohr

Director Sales

Bernd Lohr started at Riedel Networks in December 2009 and was appointed Director Sales & Business Development in April 2012. In this role Bernd is responsible for the selling and carrier relations activities of Riedel Networks. Prior to Riedel Networks Bernd held several senior sales positions in Enterprise and Global Accounts business units of global IT and communications services providers such as Dimension Data Germany, Pan Dacom Networking, Global Telecom & Technology, Inc (GTT) and Orange Business Services (OBS). Bernd holds a diploma in administration.
